Labels for Letter's Envelopes
Last month I received an e-mail (that probably have been forwarded by hundreds of people) requesting that we should write at the back of our mail envelopes the phrase IN GOD WE TRUST, being a way to let the government know that "we the people" want to keep the motto in our money, in the Constitution, in the Pledge of Allegiance, etc.
I think that this is an excellent idea, and I was motivated to do more to help in this campaign.
My idea is to make "label" that anyone can place on their letter envelopes. They can be printed on any jet color printer connected to a desktop or laptop computer. Every label has this blog address printed on it, so anyone who sees our envelopes with the labels, will know how to get their own labels.
How to do it?
You can print the whole page with 30 labels on a sheet of regular letter size paper, on regular or photo paper.
Download the file "igwmt30.pdf" and save to your hard drive.
(Link for all label files at the end of this post)
Then just double click on the file "igwmt30.pdf" and Adobe Reader, the free program will open the file. If you do not have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, you can download it here:

Print the page in color and cut out the labels with scissors and keep them in a drawer. When you need to use a label, just apply glue to the back of it with a "Glue Stick" and glue it down.
WHERE DO WE PLACE THE LABELS?
I checked with my local U.S. Post Office and asked them where can we place the labels, and they said it can be done anywhere except on the spaces reserved for the delivery address, return address and for the stamp. The best places are the ones shown in dashed lines in the graphic below:
If you have a prepaid return envelope the rules changes and you better stick the label to the reverse of the envelope.
Set of four different labels with landscapes
This other page also comes with 30 labels with four different designs with the phrase "In God we trust" and also with a different bible verse in each design.
For this labels, print the file "igwmt30-landscapes.pdf" on regular or photo paper

I strongly agree with what you're trying to accomplish. Contrary to what many people are attempting do by removing the name of God from Federal and legal documents, etc. Yes, we have to place our trust in God!
ReplyDeleteHope that not just hundreds, but millions will follow you.
God Bless you, Marta
